I am lucky to know lot of famous people: Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Jack Welch, Larry Page, Mark Zuckerberg, I know all of them ; and I would like to share with you, that those people, the difference between those people and other people :

they are always optimistic for the future, they never complain, they always try to solve the problem of the others

(…) and I think where is the opportunity? The opportunity always lies in the place where people complain. Some people sit there complain, you (have to) think: hum if I can solve that complain, that is the opportunity. That is what I did.

I wanted my team to understand that strategy is disciplined thinking that requires tough choices and is all about winning. Grow or grow faster is not a strategy. Build market share is not a strategy. Ten percent or greater earnings-per-share growth is not a strategy. Beat XYZ competitor is not a strategy. A strategy is a coordinated and integrated set of where-to-play, how-to-win, core capability, and management system choices that uniquely meet a consumer’s needs, thereby creating competitive advantage and superior value for a business.

Strategy is a way to win—and nothing less.
